Composing an announcement

The announcement composer is one form for every channel. Write once, pick where to send, and we adapt the formatting per channel.

Steps

1. Open Announcements → New announcement.
2. Write a title and body. Markdown is supported.
3. Pick channels — Email, SMS, Push, Website banner.
4. Pick an audience — everyone, a segment, or a custom list.
5. Schedule for now or a future time, then click Send.

Channel adaptation

• Email — full HTML with your masjid's branding header.
• SMS — auto-truncated to 160 chars with a short link to the full announcement.
• Push — title + first 90 characters as the notification body.
• Website banner — markdown rendered, dismissible per visitor.
