Annual tax receipts

Generate and email receipts for your jurisdiction.

MasjidDesk generates jurisdiction-aware annual tax receipts. We currently support the United States (501(c)(3)), Canada (CRA), the United Kingdom (HMRC), and Australia (DGR).

Setup

Open Settings → Receipts. Upload your charity registration document and confirm the legal name, registration number, and authorized signatory. Receipts are signed cryptographically and can be re-verified at any time.

Generating annual receipts

  1. Open Donations → Annual receipts.
  2. Pick the tax year (defaults to the previous calendar year).
  3. Review the donor list — flag any to exclude (e.g. business sponsorships).
  4. Click Generate. PDFs are emailed to donors and stored under their profile.
Receipts are regenerated automatically if a donor's address or legal name changes before the tax year closes.
