Privacy policy

We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email, and the data you enter about your masjid's members, donations, and events. We also collect technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not collect information from third-party data brokers, and we do not enrich your contacts with outside sources.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the MasjidDesk service.
• Process donations and send receipts on behalf of your masjid.
• Send transactional emails and, where authorized, product updates.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We never sell personal information. We share it only with vetted subprocessors necessary to run the service (hosting, email delivery, payments), with your masjid's authorized admins, or when required by law. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

We retain your data for as long as your masjid maintains an account with us. When you cancel, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights from your account settings, or by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
